The frame was made from long wooden poles fastened to gether at the top.
Ends were spread out to form a circle
Covered with a tent of animal skin and tied to the ground
Outsides of tents were decorated
Easily moved when hunting
City Homes
Many people live in cities in America but because there is so little space they live in high rise apartment buildings like those in the picture of Chicago below.

Many homes in Finland are made from wood as it is very plentiful
IRELAND
There are many different types of homes to be found in Ireland today
These homes have sloped roofs so that when it rains the water will flow off easily
These homes have double glazed windows to keep in the heat
CHINA

In Bejing in China people lived in houses known as 'Square Compounds'
Houses were on four sides of a courtyard
The main house was on the northside facing south
The most important members of family lived in this house
