Elephant
The elephant is the only animal in the world with a tusk. It uses it’s
trunk many ways. It pulls in the world leaves of trees with its tusk and than
puts them into its mouth. It can even use its trunk to pull up trees when it
wants to make a path trough the jungle. It also uses it’s trunk to get water.
The trunk can hold a lot of water, as an elephant needs to drink more than
three hundreds pints of water everyday.
When an elephant is angry, it tusks can be dangerous. The tusks of an
elephant are really it’s front teeth. People pay a lot of money for the ivory
of an elephant’s tusks. The ivory from the tusks is made into many beautiful
things.
It has been very easy for main to train an elephants to carry heavy
things for long distances. Many people say that kings of Siam used to give
